Making an Impact Together with Nationwide
The Nationwide Team helping sort Growbaby Donations
We recently welcomed a fantastic team of volunteers from Nationwide to Restore Northampton for one of our Growbaby Impact Days.
The team spent the morning sorting donations, organising baby items, and helping prepare resources for families across Northampton, while also learning more about hidden poverty and the growing need for support within our community.
What Are Restore Impact Days?
Our Social Value and Impact Days give organisations the opportunity to make a practical difference in the community through hands-on volunteering and learning about the realities many local families face.
Activities can include:
Sorting donations
Packing parcels and clothing bundles
Restocking shelves and boutique areas
Preparing welcome bags and baby packs
These opportunities help organisations meet social value goals while directly supporting local families.
Volunteer Feedback
The Nationwide team brought enthusiasm, compassion, and a real willingness to help throughout the day.
Following the visit, they shared:
