4) Donations
We are grateful for all donations. When you donate through our Website:
4.1 Donation processing
Donations are processed using Charity Suite (our fundraising and supporter management system). When you complete a donation, your transaction and related supporter details may be processed and stored in Charity Suite for purposes such as:
processing your donation and sending receipts/confirmations;
maintaining supporter records and Gift Aid records (where applicable);
handling queries, refunds, or payment issues; and
charity reporting and accounting.
4.2 Monthly/regular donations
If you set up a monthly (or other regular) donation, you authorise recurring payments at the frequency and amount you select until you cancel.
Cancelling or changing a regular donation:
You can cancel or amend your regular donation at any time by contacting us. Please allow a reasonable time for changes to take effect before your next scheduled payment.
4.3 Refunds and mistakes
If you believe a donation has been made in error (wrong amount, duplicate payment, or unauthorised transaction), please contact us as soon as possible. We will review requests fairly and in line with any payment provider rules and our legal obligations.
Note: Refunds may affect any Gift Aid claimed (see below).
4.4 Gift Aid
Where available, you may be able to add Gift Aid to your donation. It is your responsibility to ensure you are eligible and that the declaration you provide is accurate. If your circumstances change (for example, you no longer pay enough UK income/capital gains tax), please notify us.
4.5 Fees
Depending on how you donate, payment processing fees may apply. Where relevant, this will be shown during the donation process.
5) Newsletter sign-up (Mailchimp)
If you sign up to receive our newsletter, we use Mailchimp to manage subscriptions and email communications. You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by contacting us at insert email.
