Bringing communities to life through love & compassion

Building relationships to restore lives, renew hope and move from crisis to community

At Restore, we offer both emotional and practical assistance during times of crisis and empower those we serve to tackle the root causes of poverty. Our projects aim to create opportunities for individuals and families to connect with community and find a sense of belonging. We believe that the key to restoring hope and well-being is building strong relationships.

The projects range from emergency provisions of food and necessities for those in economic hardship, to longer term support work and community activities. Re:store reaches out to support, encourage, and empower those who find themselves on the margins.

Restore covers the Borough of Northampton (NN1-NN5) but works in closely with charities in the wider area including the West Northants Food Aid Alliance (LINK). Restore has a strong ethos of partnership working and is always keen for collaborative approaches to seeing renewal in Northampton.

Our Story

Restore’s initial project, Northampton Food Bank was established by Central Vineyard Church in 2009.

Our Motivation

The team at Restore are motivated by the Biblical call to demonstrate God’s love through acts of kindness.

The Christian faith encourages those following it to show love, acceptance and mercy to all people in all circumstances, without judging and to stand up for what is right. Micah 6:8 states that the Lord calls us to ‘act justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with our eyes on God’.

Restore is inclusive, welcoming and open to all - not at all dependent on faith. We celebrate diversity and seek to bring unity.

Our Focus

We offer range of projects that reduce the impact of poverty within the town and improve health and wellbeing.
