Supporting More Families in Our Community
The second quarter of 2026 has been another busy and encouraging few months for Growbaby at Restore Northampton, as we continue to provide practical support to local families with babies and young children.
Between April and June 2026, we welcomed 169 adults and 93 little ones through our doors across just 10 Growbaby sessions.
During this time, we supported 172 referrals, providing families with much-needed essentials including 139 packs of nappies and 172 packs of wipes, alongside clothing, toiletries and larger pieces of baby equipment such as highchairs, pushchairs, cots and mattresses.
For the families receiving them, these items can make a real difference, helping to ease some of the financial pressures of raising a young family while ensuring children have access to the everyday essentials they need.
Our support continues to grow
When we look back at the same period last year, the growing need for Growbaby becomes even clearer.
Between April and June 2025, we supported 147 referrals. This year, that figure has risen to 172 referrals, an increase of 25 referrals, or approximately 17%.
To put that into perspective, those additional referrals represent the equivalent of almost two extra Growbaby sessions' worth of support, delivered within the same three-month period.
Behind every one of those numbers is a family. Whether someone needed a pack of nappies to see them through the week, a safe place for their baby to sleep, a pushchair to help them get out and about, or simply some reassurance and practical support, our aim remains the same: to respond with care, compassion and dignity.
