Bringing the Community Together Family Fun Day 2025
Saturday 28th June saw the return of our much-loved Family Fun Day, hosted in partnership with Central Vineyard. The event brought nearly 300 local residents together for a day of connection, laughter, and celebration, and the sunshine didn’t hurt either!
From the moment the doors opened, families poured in to enjoy a wide range of free activities, from giant outdoor games and crafts to temporary tattoos and teddy tombola! Plus plenty of free refreshment, cakes, hot dogs, drinks and more. Our committed team of 50 volunteers, including over 10 young people, worked tirelessly to create a welcoming and joyful space for everyone.
The feedback we received has been overwhelmingly positive. Many parents expressed their surprise that such a vibrant, activity-packed event could be completely free. For us, that’s exactly the point, to create opportunities for everyone, regardless of circumstances, to enjoy time together and build memories.
“Thank you for giving us all an amazing time and again, for spoiling not only the kids but also us parents,” said one parent. “We appreciate you all.”
This event was a beautiful reminder of what happens when the community comes together, neighbours meeting neighbours, children playing side by side, and joy shared across generations.
