Christmas at Restore
As the festive season fades into memory and we settle into the rhythm of the new year, we are taking a moment to reflect on what was truly an extraordinary Christmas at Restore. It was a season filled with generosity, togetherness and countless moments of joy that will stay with us long into 2026.
It takes a village
Everything we achieved this Christmas was made possible by the kindness and support of our incredible community. From individual donors to local businesses, every contribution helped bring warmth and happiness to families who needed it most.
A huge thank you also goes to our dedicated Restore team and volunteers. Their time, energy and care, sorting donations, wrapping gifts and welcoming families, made all the difference. Your commitment truly brought the spirit of Christmas to life.
Santa’s Grotto & Christmas Party
This year, we were delighted to welcome 38 children and their families to our annual Christmas Party, a highlight of the season. In the days leading up to the event, our wonderful ‘elves’ Laura and Hannah transformed a room into a magical Santa’s Grotto, complete with twinkling lights and festive sparkle.
The excitement peaked when Santa arrived, gifting each child a named present chosen especially for them. Families enjoyed delicious food, festive activities and storytelling from Preacher the Storyteller, creating memories that we know will be cherished.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters and local businesses, the entire event was provided free of charge, ensuring every family could experience the joy of Christmas without worry.
The Well Festive Table
Christmas wouldn’t have been complete without a traditional roast dinner! Members of the Restore team and volunteers prepared a full Christmas feast with all the trimmings for our regular attendees of The Well.
The tables were beautifully decorated with festive touches, handmade gifts and thoughtful Christmas cards created by the 87th Northampton Brownies from Duston. Their kindness added an extra layer of warmth to the celebration and made the day even more special.
Grow Baby Great Gift Giveaway
After months of planning and preparation, our Christmas celebrations culminated in the Grow Baby Great Gift Giveaway, an event filled with excitement, teamwork and festive cheer.
Over two busy days, it was all hands on deck as Restore was transformed into a wrapping wonderland, with volunteers working tirelessly to ensure every gift was wrapped with care.
We were proud to welcome 175 children and their families, making sure each child received gifts chosen just for them. Watching families leave with smiles, laughter and arms full of presents was a powerful reminder of why this work matters so much.
Restoring Hope and Joy
At Restore, we believe in the strength of community. This Christmas showed us once again that when people come together with compassion and generosity, we can restore hope, dignity and joy to children and families who need it most.
