Thank You!
Our Christmas campaign has now closed for this year. Thank you for taking the time to visit, and for being part of what made this Christmas possible. We will be back again next year.
Christmas at Restore
For many families who come to Restore, Christmas brings moments of joy and relief. For many others across Northampton, it remains one of the most difficult times of the year. Giving, volunteering, and sharing our work helps local families get through a season that can otherwise feel overwhelming.
This Christmas season, here is what your support made possible.
We hosted a family Christmas party for 70 children and their grown ups, including a Santa experience and one of Northampton’s favourite entertainers.
We welcomed guests to the Festive Table Christmas Dinner for food bank and wellbeing café visitors.
We celebrated together at the Restore Allotment.
We delivered our biggest Growbaby Great Gift Giveaway yet, reaching almost 200 babies and children.
Alongside our volunteers, we created a Christmas grotto filled with gifts worth £12,500. Families living on the lowest incomes were invited to choose large bags of presents. The space was full of toys, games, books, crafts, stocking fillers, and selection boxes. For many parents, this was the first time they could choose gifts without worrying about the cost.
Impact on Families
Before visiting Restore Christmas, over 90% of families told us they felt anxious or stressed because they could not afford presents. After their visit, families shared that they felt calmer, happier, and more able to enjoy Christmas with their children.
Across Northampton, families continue to struggle with food costs and rising bills. For 143 children who received gifts through the Growbaby Great Gift Giveaway, this was their only present. Without this support, those children would have gone without this Christmas.
You can still help
We know life is hard for many households all year. Restore Northampton will continue to support families into 2026 and beyond. Through the Growbaby Boutique for clothes and essentials, the Northampton Food Bank, advice services, and life skills courses, we stay alongside families when they need it most.
Some purchases were made in faith, and we are working to close a final £1,000 gap.
Find ways to support Restore financially, including regular giving. You can also donate directly through your bank.
Even £5 a month helps us plan ahead and continue supporting more families.
