There are many valuable roles for volunteers within Re:store Northampton, giving opportunities to people from all walks of life with all sorts of skills.

Whether you prefer to be behind the scenes, or up front chatting to people, we have a part for you to play. Our volunteers love being part of the team, and many say it feels like family and is a highlight of their week.

FOOD BANK
DONATIONS

Northampton Food Bank relies on donations of food, toiletries and cleaning products from the kind hearted people in our town. 

As we are a local independent food bank, we do not get donations from large companies, shops or supermarket collection points (other than Asda in Kingsthorpe). Each year we serve those in crisis by distributing around £70,000 of donated items. Every donation is valued to us, and most importantly, to a family or individual who cannot afford food and basic items. Please use our shopping list and drop off items to any collection point.

GROW BABY
DONATIONS

Growbaby provides clothes and essentials for families with children 0-5yrs who are in crisis.

If you have good quality items you would like to donate, then check what items we can accept and when donations can be received, or get in contact if you have any questions.

Fundraising

Whatever your age, ability or skills, you can support Re:store Northampton and tackle poverty in the town through raising funds and awareness for the charity. 

Fundraisers have done Colour Runs, ran the London Marathon, organised bake sales, epic bike rides and abseiled the Lift Tower…what could you do?  Fundraisers will need to contact us to register to event/activity, use our branding and gather funds through our online accountable fundraising page.

Share what we do

We know you will be as excited as we are about how Re:store Northampton is addressing poverty and changing lives in the town. 

So now you can shout about it! Follow us on social media, share posts, encourage your friends to ‘like’ and ‘follow’ us too. If you run any groups or events, we can arrange for a volunteer speaker to come and share what we do, or have an information stand, to raise funds and our profile in the town.

Prayer support

We believe that prayer changes things.  

Those who commit to praying for Re:store regularly are like an army of warriors, and we get to see breakthrough. Re:store gives weekly email updates, so prayer can happen anywhere/anytime by anyone. There are also opportunities through the year to join together with the team to pray - if you would like to be included please let us know.
